I am an emo/cutter and I have to say that we are not all the same. We don’t all dress alike and have the same hair stilles. The true emo’s prove that they are their own person and live their own horrible lives. Though most of us dream of death and an end to our pain we can be happy sometimes and we can still live our lives so don’t judge us by what you think we may all be like. I personaly became emo because of my overportective mother. She wouldnt let me live my life and she was always yelling at me so i got so depressed. Then one day i cut.. and it felt good in a way.. to get my emotions out like this. Then i slowly swiched form being a goth to a half goth half emo.. and thats where i am at now.

Finally, some one who understands. Thanks a lot, this means loads; it will help more people understand how we really are. We aren’t self-harmer’s, if some one self-harms it is because of how they are as a person, not because they are Emo. We may still get those stereotypes who wont agree with this, but what do they know? Hopefully after reading this, a lot more than what they did.
