I am not Emo. I never will be. The style is not what I like. I get accused of being Emo at my school because I wear jeans, converse and an over-sized hoodie almost every day. I have friends in all stereotypes and I get them all to talk to each other so that their minds become more open to people who are different. They are people just like you and they have a way to make themselves unique from you and express their opinions. To them, you all look the same! I don’t like to be considered emo. I find “Emo” as just another label that people place on me. I am Myself, and no one else. People aslo call me “Goth” because I love combat boots and fishnets. I express myself through my clothing. i also express my past through my clothing. My dad is a drunk,abuses me, my step mom slaps me, hits me, curses me out, throws things…etc. My mom is wonderful, but I only get the privelage to see her a few times… I used to be very suicidal, attemted at least 14 times by cutting, drowning, hanging, etc. But I failed, like I do everything else. It’s not just my parents that make me want to end it all, people at school, in public, whispering behind my back and making me want to go and hide. All just because I am different and I like different things. Cutting yourself shouldnt be for attention, or because thats the “fad”. But if it is an outlet, the only thing that makes you still feel alive, then it is not wrong. My scissors and razors are my best friends. because they have helped me through everything.
And P.S – The Pictures are very cunning
